All CS2 Cache Map Callouts: Complete Guide

On April 29 of 2026, Valve brought Cache back to CS2, adding it to Competitive, Casual, Deathmatch, and Retake modes, hopefully ending its seven-year absence from the game.

Rebuilt under the Source 2 engine, Cache is now much more detailed and structured, and with the new lighting system, it looks better than ever.

Cache CS2 Radar Map With all Callouts

In this article, we are going to cover every CS2 Cache callout, explain where each one is located, and break down how and when each spot comes up.

Cache A-Site Callouts

Of the two bomb sites on Cache, A-Site is the more open one that demands constant spatial awareness. Terrorists have several ways to push A-Site, through A Main, Highway, and Squeaky. It forces Counter-Terrorists to be continuously attentive and communicative about what is happening around. Here is a breakdown of every callout on A-Site:

  • A-Site: The bomb plant area located on the A side.
  • A Main/Warehouse: A wide corridor connecting T-Spawn with A-Site.
  • Lockers: A small room in A Main with green lockers.
  • Quad/Quad Stack: Four stacked boxes at the back of A-Site.

  • NBK/Fence/Close Right: Corner next to Quad on A-Site is named after a pro player, NBK, who made an ace dancing around that spot.
  • Squeaky/Blue Door: A room that connects A Long with A-Site. Called Squeaky for the blue door that makes a squeaky sound when opened.
  • Shroud/Boost Boxes: Boost boxes in the corner of A-Site between Squeaky and A Main. Named after streamer Shroud.
  • Forklift/Fork/Headshot: The forklift vehicle next to the Balcony, commonly used by CTs to hold the site.

  • Balcony/Cat/Upper/A Heaven: An elevated metal balcony on A-Site above the Forklift that gives a strong line of sight.
  • A Default/Safe: The standard bomb plant position on A-Site that is considered to be the safest.
  • Default Box: A yellow box located on A-Site under Balcony.
  • Highway/Catwalk: A corridor that connects Mid with A-Site. Useful for quick rotations.
  • A Long: Alternative longer path from T-Spawn to A-Site, which gets to Squeaky.

Cache B-Site Callouts

B-Site on Cache is a more contained and claustrophobic bomb site, where elevations and information play a huge role. The most important positions CTs can take early in the game are Heaven and Checkers, which allow them to take control of the site. However, Vent push or coordinated B Main push with Window flashes can catch the defenders off guard. Precise callouts are what separate a clean hold from a chaotic atmosphere. Below are all the B-Site callouts, all broken down:

  • B-Site: The bomb plant area on the B side. More compact than A-Site.
  • Headshot/Generator: The low area on B-Site on Heaven, where you only see the head of a crouched player.
  • B Offen: Less commonly used callout that refers to the area between B-Site and Checkers.
  • B Default: The standard bomb plant position on B-Site behind a cover.
  • B Ramp: Ramp leading to B-Site.
  • Spray/Back Site/B Corner: Area behind boxes at the back of B-Site.
  • New Boxes: Callout for an area behind the big boxes on B Hall. Provides additional cover for planting or holding the B-Site.

  • Pit/Mull: A pit located next to the ramp on B-Site. A hiding spot commonly used by CTs to pre-aim the Ts’ entry.
  • B Main: T-Side corridor between B-Site, Checkers, and B Halls.
  • Heaven/Upper: An elevated wooden platform that is accessible from CT Hall. The strongest position CT can hold, which gives them a dominant position over the entire site.
  • Rafters/Heaven: A raised metal platform that Heaven leads to. It can also be called Heaven.
  • Blue/Soils: Area next to blue wall, under Heaven/Rafters.
  • Checkers: A room with a checkered floor that Vents lead to. A major CT control point.
  • Back Checkers/Checkers Boxes: Area behind boxes located at the back of the Checkers.
  • Vents: Ventilation shafts that connect Mid to B-Site. Crawling vents is loud, but it's a surprising move that Ts can use.
  • Boxes/Close Right Box/B Main Boxes: Boxes in B Main that lead to Checkers, CTs use it as a hiding point.

  • B Halls: A big area that connects B Main and T-Spawn. Terrorists use it to get to B-Site or to Mid from their Spawn.
  • Sun Room/Window Room/Flash Room: A room next to B Halls and B Main from where Ts can do nade line-ups using Window.
  • Toxic: A small yellow metal cube between the two entrances of the Sun Room, located next to B Halls and B Main.
  • Flash Window/Window: A window in the Sun Room, from which Ts throw grenade line-ups.

Cache Mid Callouts

Mid is the heart of Cache; the central zone that connects everything. The team that controls Mid controls the whole map, as they have fast rotation points and many routes to push on either of the sites. Highway allows players to quickly push towards A-Site, while Vents provide a direct route to  B-Site. Here is every Mid callout you need to know:

  • Mid: The central area of the map connecting T-Spawn to both bombsites. It is one of the most important control points that allows players to quickly rotate and put pressure on the enemy.
  • Connector/Z: A small corridor linking Mid to CT Halls.
  • White Box/Spool: White box located near Highway. Commonly used as a hideout for CTs.
  • Sand Bags: Sandbags in Mid that are near Connector. It allows CTs to get on the Roof to control Ts push on Mid.
  • Roof/Mid Roof: An elevated area on Mid from where CTs control Garage and Boost.

  • Cubby/Below Boost/Boost Corner: Corner below Boost that presses against A Main.
  • Boost: A specific location accessible from A Long, where one player boosts another to easily access Mid. Mostly used by Ts at the beginning of the round to secure their position on Mid.
  • Red/Garage Container: An area inside the Garage where the red Garage Container is located.
  • Garage: A large garage building that connects T-Spawn with Mid and Dumpster.

Other Cache Key Callouts

Not every key position on Cache is located on either of the bombsites or Mid. Other key spots that are important to know are mostly located near T-Spawn and CT-Spawn. Ignoring these spot callouts may limit your communication and result in a round loss or team miscommunication. Here are all the other Cache key callouts explained:

  • T-Spawn: The starting point where every round Terrorists spawn.
  • CT-Spawn: The starting point where every round Counter-Terrorists spawn.
  • CT Halls: A large area between Truck and Hell that also connects CT-Spawn with Connector.

  • Truck/Car: An old vehicle between Elektro and CT Halls.
  • Elektro: An area that connects A-Site with CT Halls.
  • Dumpster/B Connector: Room that connects B Halls with Garage.
  • T Boxes: An area between B Halls and T-Spawn.

  • T Truck: A truck located next to T-Spawn from where Terrorists get to A Long.
  • Tree/Van: A tree located at the back of Hell.
  • Hell: A space that connects CT Halls with B-Site and allows CTs to get to Heaven.
