Given the popularity of the Printstream series, which was first released as part of the Desert Eagle back in 2020, obtaining the Printstream AWP became the new goal for the community, which skyrocketed the popularity of the Fever Case.

Apart from that, the CS2 Fever Case contains 4 Exceedingly Rare items with different finishes for each one: Skeleton Knife, Nomad Knife, Survival Knife, and the Paracord Knife. The combination of these two additions makes the Fever Case one of the most opened cases in recent months.

And alongside those two big draws, the case is rounded out with several other profitable, standout skins, which are more than enough to fit your taste.

Is Fever Case Worth Investing In?

It has long been speculated by the community that Fever Case could soon be removed from the Armory. The reason for that speculation is Valve's gradual switch from Cases towards Terminals.

Furthermore, the Fever Case has been in the Armory for a relatively long time, which is why many players expect it to be removed with every next armory rotation.

So when is the Fever Case getting removed? No one knows for sure yet. The latest Armory rotation happened on July 9, and no new case was introduced. So, unless Valve makes a new announcement about it, we can only guess what will happen.

Which Items Should You Chase In The Fever Case?

The Fever Case holds 17 weapon skins and 4 knives across various finishes. But which ones are actually worth chasing?

Here's the simple math: if your desired skin's market value is lower than what it costs to unbox, you're better off buying it on your own. Opening a Fever Case costs about $3 total ($2.49 for the key, $0.52 for the case itself). To be profitable, you need to pull at least a Classified-rarity skin. Anything below that results in a loss (Not considering StatTrak variants).

And here's the catch: your odds of landing a Classified or better sit below 5%. In other words, roughly 95% of openings end in a loss.

Exceedingly Rare Items

The Skeleton Knife is particularly notable due to its relative newness in the game at the time and popularity in the community. The Doppler and Marble Fade versions of the Skeleton Knife are among the most expensive unboxings in the Fever Case. If you pull one, consider yourself extremely lucky.

The worst knife that can be dropped is the Paracord Knife | Rust Coat in Battle-Scarred condition, which is worth around $39. However, considering that the chance of pulling a knife is only 0.26%, the odds are very low that you'll get one on your first try.

The next skin that will give you great profit is FAMAS | Bad Trip, which is a vivid, psychedelic skin with a layered illustration style and an intense color palette.

Classified

Classified items are the middle ground, which usually profit you, but don't give too much. In Fever Case, we have only three Classified items, which both look bold and have a nice value.
