Agent Patches in CS2: Everything You Need to Know in 2026
When you have already collected your wish loadout and agent, you think that there is nothing more that can boost your visuals, but you are wrong. Back in 2020, Valve released one of the most unexpected updates that added Patch Packs to the game, which basically allowed players to customize their agent skins by sticking patches on them.
In this article, we are going to discuss what patches are, how many patches exist, patch rarities, and the best patches from each patch pack.
What do patches do in CS2?
Patches are accessories that you can stick on your agent to decorate them. Every agent, besides default models, has three patch places, which may be different for each agent. It basically means you can use only three patches on one agent skin. Usually, patch places are on the sleeves, lower torso, or back.
How many patches are in CS2?
Back in CSGO, there were 112 different patches. which you can obtain from 7 different patch packs. Nothing has changed since then.

- High grade
Similar to stickers, patches are divided into two groups:, regular and tournament patches.
