Dead Hand Terminal: Every Skin and Glove in CS2's Second Terminal

The Dead Hand Terminal went live on March 11, 2026, making it only the second terminal Valve has ever released after Genesis back in September. This time around, the collection includes 17 weapon finishes and 22 gloves as the rare special items. And those aren't reskins or variants of existing gloves.

They're entirely new finishes across Sport Gloves, Specialist Gloves, and Driver Gloves. Considering the last time Valve added fresh gloves to CS was late 2020, it's safe to say the community noticed.

Coverts

There are two Covert skins in the new collection, and even though they're the most eye-catching in the entire collection (besides the Golds).

AWP | Queen's Gambit

Featuring a deep navy barrel with floral patterns and intricate gold engravings across the body, the AWP | Queen's Gambit is what most of the community has agreed on as the standout skin of the entire collection.

There's a queen figure engraved into the stock, small gem-like details scattered throughout, and the gold work is detailed enough to feel like an actual engraved weapon rather than just a paint job.

"Every shot is a royal decree of power and precision"

Glock-18 | Fully Tuned

Neon colors, metallic glitter, and full anime vibes, the Glock-18 | Fully Tuned is one of the most polarizing skins in the new collection. Some players love how loud it is, others think it's too much for CS when it comes to its bright colors. The flavor text leans into that self-awareness, which is a nice touch.

"It's a bit much for me, but I'm not the target audience... - Booth, Arms Dealer"

On pricing for both Coverts: it's been less than a week since launch and supply is extremely thin at this tier. Whatever numbers you see floating around right now aren't reliable yet. Give it time for the 7-day trade locks to expire and actual market volume to form before treating any price as settled.

Classified

Three skins here, and for most players this is where the collection actually gets interesting. Good designs at prices that don't require too much spending

AK-47 | Crane Flight

With a black and white base, a hand-painted crane, and gold accents, the AK-47 | Crane Flight is the community's favorite of the Classified tier.

Some players are comparing it to a more detailed version of the Hydroponic, using that same high-contrast white and dark tone combo that stands out in-game. The gold accents add just enough flair without making it noisy, and it works with pretty much any loadout.

"Preceding the blood moon"

P250 | Kintsugi

With a custom-painted orange bird and gold accents over an ivory base, the P250 | Kintsugi draws inspiration from the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold.

The warm palette is a refreshing change from the usual cold-toned P250 options, and it's one of those skins that looks better in-game than screenshots suggest.

"Like those fancy dinner plates, this weapon's only used for special occasions"

P90 | Deathgaze

Featuring a graffiti-style Medusa painted over a Carrara marble base, the P90 | Deathgaze mixes classical and modern rebellion.

Wild hypnotic eyes and serpents stretch across the body of the weapon, and the contrast between clean marble and street art energy makes it stand out (and quite a good looking skin). The community is split on this one though. Some think it tries too hard, while others think that's exactly what a P90 skin should do.

"Worship not the idols built on foundations of deception"

Classified pricing is in the same boat as Coverts right now. FN copies are carrying a heavy early premium, but nothing has stabilized. Lower wears will likely settle much cheaper, though how cheap depends on how many terminals get opened over the coming weeks.

Restricted

The new Dead Hand collection comes with five skins in the Restricted tier, and the one worth paying attention to is the M4A1-S Electrum.

Marbled green finish with gold and red accents that looks way too good for this tier. Some players are even suggesting it shouldn't be Restricted at all and should've landed in the Classified tier instead.

Then there's the Galil AR Galigator, the fun pick of the bunch with a full alligator and toxic symbol theme and "CHOMP! CHOMP! CHOMP!" as its flavor text.

Also a solid skin in this tier is the Desert Eagle Firebreathing, which brings a purple and blue flame finish that shifts with lighting. The MP9 Urban Sovereign and MP7 Amberline round things out with a gold graffiti look and a minimalist orange spray band design.

Mil-Spec Grade

At the bottom of the rarity ladder there are seven Mil-Spec skins: USP-S Silent Shot, M4A4 Zubastick, UMP-45 Fragment, Sawed-Off Fusion, PP-Bizon RMX, M249 Bock Blocks, and Five-SeveN Dark Polymer.

This is where most of your offers are going to land, with about four out of five coming from this tier. Prices will be low once the market settles, but they also double as trade-up contract inputs which keeps a small price floor under them.

If you're picking one to actually use, the USP-S Silent Shot is probably your best bet with a clean black and blue geometric design and shuriken motifs.

The M4A4 Zubastick has some character too, hand-painted teeth and orange eyes that give it a 90s lunchbox vibe.

The Gloves

For the gold tier, the Dead Hand Terminal comes with 22 gloves across three families: Sport Gloves, Specialist Gloves, and Driver Gloves. All sitting at Extraordinary rarity with no StatTrak variants and a float range of 0.06 to 0.80.

Your chance of seeing any glove as a terminal offer sits at roughly 1.29% per terminal, which works out to about 1 in 77 terminals on average.

Glove prices haven't hit the Steam Market yet since the collection just dropped and trade locks are still active.

But if it follows the same pattern as the Genesis Terminal, one thing worth noting is that when a glove does show up as a terminal offer, Valve's asking price tends to be well below what the market will likely settle at. That spread is the reason people are buying sealed terminals to chase gloves in the first place right now.

Sport Gloves

Based on early community rankings and terminal offer tracking, Sport Gloves are sitting at the top of the demand list with the Ultra Violent leading as the most sought-after glove in the entire collection.

  • Ultra Violent — Crimson, purple, cyan, yellow athletic palette. Pattern-sensitive, so the color lean shifts with seed. The most wanted glove in the entire pool and it's not close.
  • Violet Beadwork — Deep purple bead pattern. Pairs incredibly well with purple knives. Float matters a lot here since the bead detail washes out at higher wear.
  • Red Racer — Racing stripes, high-visibility red, full sporty energy.
  • Occult — Black base with rune and occult detailing. Holds up better than expected at lower floats.
  • Blaze — Bright ember flame theme. Busy but still readable.
  • Frosty — Icy blue-white tones. Natural pairing with Sapphire or Marble Fade knives.
  • Creme Pinstripe — Cream base, precise linework. The quiet luxury option for people who want their gloves to whisper instead of shout.

Specialist Gloves (7 Finishes)

Specialist Gloves sit in the middle of the collection. Lime Polycam has picked up the most early buzz thanks to its bright green palette, and Big Swell has been called out as a personal favorite in a few combo guides already.

  • Lime Polycam — Bright lime green, impossible to miss. Got the most early buzz in this tier. The kind of glove that makes your loadout recognizable from across the map.
  • Big Swell — Ocean-wave patterns in blue gradients. Clean, pairs well with blue setups.
  • Sunburst — Golden rays radiating outward. Warm and bold.
  • Pillow Punchers — Padded, playful texture. The name alone carried these in early community threads.
  • Chocolate Chesterfield — Deep-brown leather. Classic and understated.
  • Blackbook — Script and page-like overlays with an arcane feel. Niche appeal.
  • Cloud Chaser — Soft cloud formations in white and gray. Calm energy.

Driver Gloves (8 Finishes) — Most Accessible

Driver Gloves round out the collection with eight finishes. The designs lean into textile patterns, embroidery, and traditional motifs that you don't really see in other CS2 gloves.

  • Wave Chaser — Flowing wave pattern, strong Driver-tier aesthetic.
  • Seigaiha — Traditional Japanese wave motif. Stronger design recognition than Wave Chaser.
  • Plum Quill — Feather details in plum purple. Elegant and different.
  • Dragon Fists — Dragon-scale textures with heavier knuckle detail. More aggressive than most Drivers.
  • Garden — Botanical floral embroidery.
  • Hand Sweaters — Knit texture. Literally sweater hands. Community loves the absurdity.
  • Brocade Flowers — Floral motifs in heavier brocade fabric styling.
  • Brocade Crane — Traditional crane pattern in brocade weave. Sits at the very bottom of the glove pool, the lowest-value glove outcome you can get from a Dead Hand Terminal.

What the Community Thinks

The designs are mostly a hit. AWP Queen's Gambit and AK Crane Flight are the early favorites on the weapon side, while the M4A1-S Electrum keeps getting called the most underrated skin in the drop.

The gloves are where the real excitement is though. Six years without new gloves is a long time, and 22 new finishes at once was enough to get the entire community talking. The designs are strong enough to hold up on their own too, it's not just hype from scarcity.

As for the complaints, it's the same story as Genesis. Offer prices inside the terminal sometimes landing above what the skin is actually worth on the market, the weight of declining offers knowing the terminal could break with nothing, and the bigger question of whether Valve should be the one setting prices in the first place.

Most trading communities are saying what they said with Genesis: if you get a Dead Hand Terminal from your weekly drop and you're not feeling the risk, just sell it sealed and buy the skin you want off the market. If you do unseal though, set your max offer limit and know what you're walking into. Most of your offers will be Mil-Spec, and gloves sit at about 1 in 77 terminals.

Opening CS2 cases has always been one of the best parts of the game, but let’s be real, it gets really expensive really fast. So if you’re gonna do it, the least you can do is stick to the cheapest cases, right?
